The Mathilde is built in two halves that move as one — a fitted knit bodice trimmed with delicate ruffled cuffs and closed down the front with small pearl buttons, falling at the waist into a soft lace peplum that breaks the line before the long plissé skirt cascades to the floor. Cut entirely in ivory knit with intricate pointelle patterning throughout, the dress reads less like fashion and more like an heirloom you've always had.
